Supports .pdf · Files are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded

Split one PDF into several files, with support for splitting every page, extracting only selected pages, or grouping every N pages. This guide explains how to choose among the three split modes.

Three split modes

Choose based on your actual needs. After switching, the interface automatically shows the corresponding settings.

  • Every page: each page is exported as one PDF, suitable for splitting a scan page by page
  • Selected pages: only the checked pages are exported individually, suitable for picking a few pages out of a long document
  • Every N pages: each group of N pages becomes one file, suitable for cutting a long document into chapters or fixed-size chunks

How to use "Selected pages"?

After upload every page gets a thumbnail, and all pages are selected by default. After switching to "Selected pages", you can use "Select all / Select none / Invert selection" to adjust quickly, or click the thumbnails to check pages one by one.

Each checked page is exported individually as a PDF containing only that page.

How to use "Every N pages"?

Just enter the number of pages per group. For example, a 10-page PDF with 3 entered gives 3 PDFs: pages 1–3, pages 4–6, pages 7–9, plus a final one containing page 10.

How to download the results?

The split results are listed one by one. You can download them individually, or click "Download all (ZIP)" to grab everything in one package.

FAQ

Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting happens entirely locally in your browser, and the file never leaves your device.
How many files can it be split into at most?
There is no hard limit, but more files use more memory. For documents with many pages, process in batches.
Does the page content change after splitting?
No. Splitting only copies pages into new PDFs. Content, size, and orientation all stay unchanged.
Can everything be downloaded as one package?
Yes. Clicking "Download all (ZIP)" packages all split results into one ZIP file.
