When do you use "PDF Merge"?
It is most useful when you need to hand someone a single file made of several PDFs: a document with multiple chapters, several contract attachments, or reports exported from different systems. After merging you only need to send it once.
How is the merge order decided?
After files are added to the list, you can drag the file rows or click the ↑ ↓ buttons on each row to adjust the order.
The list order is the merged page order: the pages of files placed earlier appear earlier in the PDF.
Does merging change the original content?
No. Merging only concatenates the pages of each file in order. The size, orientation, text, and images of each page stay unchanged.
Pages of different sizes can coexist — the merged PDF allows each page to have a different size, and readers display each page at its own size.
What are the limitations?
At least 2 PDFs are required. Encrypted PDFs need the password protection removed first, otherwise they cannot be read.
Merging many pages uses more memory. If processing fails, merge in batches.
