Why PrivaConvert?

Many online tools require you to upload files for everyday image and file tasks — slow and privacy-invasive. Everything in PrivaConvert runs locally in your browser: once you pick a file, all processing happens on your device. No uploads, no waiting.

  • QR Code: generate QR codes for URLs, text and in batch (PNG / SVG, ZIP download available)
  • Favicon: generate website icons in one click (.ico + multi-size PNG)
  • Markdown: live-preview editor with import/export; also converts web articles / HTML to Markdown

Most tools support batch processing of multiple files, and results can be downloaded as a single ZIP.

Technical Notes

PrivaConvert is built with Astro and vanilla TypeScript, statically hosted on platforms like Cloudflare Pages, with no backend services. Image processing uses the browser's built-in Canvas and Web Worker capabilities; SVG optimization uses the open-source SVGO, image vectorization uses ImageTracer, PDF generation and rendering use pdf-lib and PDF.js, QR codes use qrcode, Markdown rendering uses marked + DOMPurify, and HTML-to-Markdown conversion uses turndown. All libraries are bundled with the site and loaded on demand only when needed.
